Mindfulness

Step off the well-worn path

Is it time for a mental reboot?

If you suffer from over thinking you’ll know how hard life can feel when you have a clogged up brain! Endlessly processing things to do, problems to solve or ruminating over the same old worries increases our stress, messes up our sleep and wreaks havoc with our emotions.

In the same way we now know that regularly rebooting your computer will improve its performance and general long term health, we now have a solid base of scientific evidence that shows us that mindfulness can do the same for us.

Reboot specialises in providing both online and in-person mindfulness training for individuals and businesses interested in exploring its transformational potential and power to help them re-set, re-energise and re-connect to what matters most.

Access your natural super power.

Learning mindfulness requires no special skills, abilities or hippy tendencies! Everyone is capable of becoming more mindful without having to change themselves or believe anything different. Learning to be mindful taps into our innate capability to gain perspective, to heal and to find pleasure in life.

Stop following old habits.

It’s very easy to keep doing what you’ve always done, after all, human beings are habitual. Even if our lives don’t feel quite right, it’s common to think ‘it’s better the devil I know’ rather than taking the risk to try something different. It’s this tendency that makes it so easy to end up living life on autopilot, often missing the richness of experience as we just go through the motions.

Mindfulness is about learning to relate to life in a different way, to open up our senses and to step off this well worn path. To take your first step in a new direction find out more on our events page.

Work with someone you trust.

I know how weird it can feel to learn to meditate at the start of a mindfulness course, that’s why it’s so important to choose a teacher that you can relate to. I believe teaching mindfulness well is not just about the credentials (which I’ve got too, so don’t panic!) but about being honest and real, and creating a relaxed and comfortable space in which everyone feels ok to try something different.

“Mindfulness provides a simple but powerful route for getting ourselves unstuck, back into touch with our own wisdom and vitality. It is a way to take charge of the direction and quality of our own lives”
